Garlic bread
Serves 6
Prep time: 15 minutes
Without fail, when we are making pasta for dinner (which, if Josh had his way would be 3-4 times a week), I ask if people want garlic bread with it. Why do I ever ask? The answer is always βyes.β This is a quick recipe - I make it while I wait for the pasta water to boil. I highly recommend with the lasagna recipe I shared a couple of weeks ago.
1 baguette
1 head of garlic, finely choppped
3T olive oil
1t fresh rosemary, chopped
1/2 t each, dried basil and thyme
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix the garlic, herbs and olive oil. Cut the baguette lengthwise and spoon the mixture herb and garlic mixture on the bread. Bake on a baking sheet for 10 minutes, then turn on the broiler until it reaches your desired doneness. Serve warm.
